Animal Crossing New Horizons Book Tag

After seeing everyone having the time of their lives while playing the new Animal Crossing, I finally caved a couple of weeks ago and finally got the game as well. So what better way to celebrate it other than a tag that combines it with books?

I wasn’t tagged, but I saw this tag on Beth’s blog and decided to do it. However, it was created by Angharad and Becky at Two Book Thieves.

Past Villager – Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?

Peeta Mellark for sure. He was such a cinnamon roll in the midst of a terrible world and young me loved him. I just wanted him to be happy and I still do!

Blather’s Blatherings – Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is such a heartbreaking and beautiful book. It will definitely make you cry, but it’s totally worth it.

Celeste’s Wish – What is a future book release you wish you could read now?

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab comes out later this year and I cannot wait to have it in my hands!

Timmy and Tommy – What is your favorite sibling relationship in a book?

The whole family relationship of The Blackthorns in The Dark Artifices trilogy. They all suffered so much but they still love and care so deeply for each other. Also, Julian deserves the world, and Mark is the most adorable older sibling ever.

The Easter Bunny – A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of.

It’s not that I don’t like Scarlet from The Lunar Chronicles, but I don’t really care for her? She’s just a meh character for me.

Nook’s Loans – An author you’d give all your money to.

I’ll always buy anything V.E. Schwab, Cassandra Clare and Leigh Bardugo write.

The Sisters Able – What is your favorite fictional family (found or otherwise)?

The Weasleys from Harry Potter were such a big part of my childhood, that to this day they remind me of comfort and cozy & loud family gatherings.

It’s a C+ – What is a book trope that you don’t like that keeps popping up?

Love triangles are usually the worst thing to read about for me. It’s also very rare to find one that’s well written and that I actually care about, so let’s go with that.

The Wedding Camel – What is your favorite book set in a land far away from yours?

In the The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan, the characters go to Greece and that’s one place that I’d love to visit someday! All the history, architecture and amazing beaches!

What Would Dodos Do? – A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment?

We all know I have to pick Hogwarts. Who wouldn’t want to go to a magical school in Scotland at a moment’s notice?

If you also have been obsessed with Animal Crossing lately, consider yourself tagged!

Until next time,
