Hey there!

I can’t believe January is over already. This month flew by and I’m still not sure if it’s a good or bad thing. However, despite a strict new lockdown starting today, I’m feeling much better compared to the end of last year, so at least there’s that.

Now, let’s get into the bookish stuff:

Hey look, this is a new section! Hopefully, I’ll start writing again this year, so I can add some writing updates soon. But on other news, I got 2 lovebirds in December (I’m not sure I ever mentioned it, so here we go) and I’ve been working on taming them and I’M SO IN LOVE. They are adorable and I’ve been spoiling them to no end. Their playground takes 1/4 of my room and I regret nothing.

As I mentioned before, today a new lockdown is starting and I have no idea how long it will last this time. Much like last year, I’ll try to keep my spirits up by trying new things I never had the time for. In this case, I’ll be teaching myself how to play the piano. It’s a bit insane but I’m so excited! I’ve always dreamed about being able to play an instrument, and what better time to learn than when I have absolutely nothing else to do. I got a keyboard and she’s so beautiful. I can’t wait to be able to play all my favorite Taylor Swift songs.

  1. Juli!! That is amazing that you are teaching yourself how to play the piano!! I can play a few songs and it’s such a great instrument to learn. My favorite instrument is the violin and, even though it’s difficult to learn, I love it so much ❤ One day I know I'll actually sound good on it lol!! Sending all the good vibes your way and can't wait to hear about your piano progress!! Also, give your lovebirds a hug for me!! ❤ 😀

    1. Thank you so much Jai ♥️ that’s so nice! My sister used to play the violin as a kid and it’s so beautiful. I’m sure you’ll be great at it, music really is so amazing 🤩 will do, although they are still not big on being pet 😅

  2. I’m sorry you weren’t able to enjoy all the books you read last month but I’m glad you enjoyed Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine as I’ve heard so many good things about this one. Thank you so much for sharing my post, I’m glad you enjoyed it. 💕
The lovebirds sounds so cute !! Best of luck with learning the piano, that would be so cool. I’m kind of tempted to buy a guitar for myself but it seems like a silly purchase because I don’t know much I will use it ahah.
I hope you have a great February !!
