Becca’s Bookoplathon TBR

Hey there!

This month I’ll be participating in Becca’s Bookoplathon, a read-a-thon based on a board game made by her and that lasts for the entire month.

If you want more information on this read-a-thon, you can check Becca’s explanation video here.

The board game is super interesting and it was so much fun to roll the dices and find out which prompts I had gotten. I just wanted to keep going on and on, but I had to limit myself on how many rolls I did because I knew I wouldn’t be able to read that many books in a single month. Especially considering that I did get 2 chunky books in this my TBR.

Now, let’s get into the prompts I got and which book I’m reading for each of them:

The Starless Sea by Erin MorgensternHouse of Earth and Blood (Crescent City, #1) by Sarah J. MaasTruly Devious (Truly Devious, #1) by Maureen JohnsonCésar Caracuel's review of La sombra del vientoThe Hypnotist (Joona Linna, #1) by Lars Kepler

Roll #1: chance – the title starts with “the”

THE STARLESS SEA by Erin Morgenstern

Roll #2: adult book

HOUSE OF EARTH AND BLOOD by Sarah J. Maas

Roll #3: a book with nature on the cover

TRULY DEVIOUS by Maureen Johnson

Roll #4: most recent purchase

LA SOMBRA DEL VIENTO by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Roll #5: translated book

O HIPNOTISTA by Lars Kepler

I’m so excited to read all of these books! Some of them I’ve had for over 5 years (the Lars Kepler book was a birthday present from my aunt) and others were just added to my TBR (both the Ruiz Zafón book as well as Maas’).

Are you participating in any read-a-thons this month? Do you like them?

Until next time,

juli
