I still can’t believe the year is almost over. It all feels like it went by so fast! And as it is my last year of university, it’s been a mess of projects and readings but now that it’s almost over, I think I’ll miss it. Anyway, I saw this tag over at Siobhan’s blog and thought it was a fun tag to do at the end of my blogging month little challenge.
Don’t forget to check out her blog, and let’s get started!
Are There Any Books You Started This Year That You Need to Finish?
I’ve been good at finishing all the books I started this year. The only book I have not read through to the end was Again But Better, but I don’t think I’ll be finishing it this year. It didn’t really interested me that much.
Do You Have an Autumnal Book to Transition into the End of the Year?
Not really. I’m more of a mood reader, but I do like to read more atmospheric books during this time of the year. I’m currently reading The Night Circus for the first time and loving it.
Is There a New Release That You’re Still Waiting For?
Call Down The Hawk! I’ve been waiting for this book for so long and now it’s taking forever for it to be shipped. I know it’ll be worth the wait though. Maggie has the most beautiful writing and the best characters.
What Are Three Books You Want to Read before the End of the Year?
Just three? That’s hard to choose. I definitely want to read Red, White and Royal Blue, The Star-Touched Queen and Eliza and Her Monsters. I’ve heard nothing but raving opinions about the first, and the other 2 are books I’ve owned and been meaning to read for way too long.
Is There a Book You Think Could Still Shock You and Become a Favourite of the Year?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo has been so hyped and sounds so interesting that I definitely think it can become a new favorite (hopefully shipping won’t take so long and it will actually get here before I leave to go spend the holidays with my family).
Have You Already Started Making Reading Plans for 2020?
For sure! As I mentioned before, this year was crazy busy so I couldn’t read as much as usual. So for 2020 I want to read 50 books, listen to at least 1 audiobook per month and actually make a dent on my physical TBR pile.
That’s it for this tag. It was so much fun, I’ll definitely be doing this again next year. What about you? Have you already started making reading plans for next year?
Until next time,
