Hello there.
As you might have noticed, this blog (as well as my other social media platforms) has changed names. It was not an easy decision, but I’m much happier with the new one.
Somesortofspell has been my social media name for a very long time. It all started with my fandom tumblr, where I got the name from a gifset of Damon Salvatore, my favorite The Vampire Diaries character. For whatever reason, the words really stuck with me. After that, I used it as the name of my bookstagram, this blog, my twitter account, my pinterest. I used it for years.
But the words never really meant that much, they had no connection to my content and it was a rather long name. I didn’t know what other name could fit though, so I kept it.
Now I’ve found a name I like much better, Kozy Words. I feel like it’s so much more me. There’s nothing I like more than to feel cozy, wrapped in a blanket on a rainy afternoon. Fairy lights and a good book. Words are also incredibly important to me: they make up all the books I love so much, as well as all the thoughts I pour into my journal, all my plans in my bullet journal and all the messy drafts from countless books I want to write. It’s also a shorter name and I think the spelling makes it quite unique.
So this is my official announcement that I’m changing names on the internet. From now on, Some Sort of Spell is no more. Moving forwards, your can find me on this blog, as well as all other social media, as Kozy Words.
I hope you like the new name, and that the change isn’t too confusing.
Until next time,
