Announcement: 30 days of blogging

October means spooky season, but also preptober season. If you’re participating in this year’s NaNoWriMo then it’s time to start setting up everything you need to have a successful writing month during November. As a plotter, and personally someone who loves all things organization and planning, preptober always has me excited and pumped to start writing right away.

However, I won’t be able to participate in NaNo this year. This is my last semester at university and I have to work on my thesis, nevermind that my internship has been taking a lot of my time. As much as I love NaNo, sometimes real life needs to take priority.

I really want to write though, and even if I can’t manage a 50k novel during the 30 days of November I can certainly make the time to write something else. That’s where my idea came from.

During November I’ll be posting more frequently on the blog, so even if I’m not doing NaNo I’ll still be writing (or at least working on something related to blogging) every day. I’ll be posting as often as I can but am aiming for at least 3 times a week. It’s something completely new to me and quite a challenge, but I think it’ll be fun.

maybe you're not thinking this through

I thought I would announce it early in case anyone else wants to join in. Also, any post ideas are very welcome – as it turns out it’s very difficult to come up with interesting blog posts for more than once a week. I’ll still be posting during October though, so I’ll be around.

Until next time,
